Doing what I love everyday!
About
Jess Bradley
In 2020 I decided to take the leap and begin JB Dance.
From a young age, dance has been an integral part of my life. I regularly attended classes outside of school, specializing in street dance and contemporary. To further develop my skills, I participated in ISTD examinations in Ballet, Jazz, Modern and Street, and took part in various shows and competitions. These experiences led me to Birmingham Ormiston Academy (BOA), where I completed my Level 3 Diploma in Dance. During this time, I received training in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Contemporary and Physical Theatre, and became a member of an all-girls dance company called Motus which led me to perform in Mathew Bourne's curtain raiser performance for Sleeping Beauty at the Birmingham Hippodrome.
In addition to dance, sport and fitness have always been a major passion of mine, and they have greatly influenced my career path. After earning a BA (Hons) degree in Physical Education (Secondary) from Plymouth Marjon University, I continued my studies at Exeter University, where I completed a PGCE to gain my teaching qualification. It was during my time at university that I discovered cheerleading, eventually rising to the position of vice-captain and competing in BCA competitions.
Today, my career is a perfect blend of my passions. I teach both PE and Dance in secondary and primary schools across the South West, with experience teaching PE up to GCSE and A-Level, as well as Dance at GCSE.
I founded JB Dance with the goal of inspiring students outside of the traditional school setting and igniting their passion for dance. My mission is to create classes that are fun, energetic, and exciting, while fostering a positive and supportive environment where students feel encouraged to learn and grow.

About
Hayley Tasker

Dance has always been a huge piece of my life!
I started taking classes in Ballet and Tap from the age of 5, where my love for the sport and perfecting my technique grew. From a young age I wanted to develop my knowledge and skills in different styles participating in competitions and NATD examinations in Ballet, Tap, Modern, Jazz and Lyrical. This led me to auditioning for the Theatre Royal Pantomime, securing a place on the cast for two seasons; performing alongside actors like Leslie Grantham, The Chuckle Brothers and Linda Lursardi. This is where I really found my passion for performing!
Throughout my years at school, dance and sport was at the forefront of my studies. I also ran extra curricular dance clubs for younger years as well as taking a lead role organising and performing in our schools annual dance show.
In my final years of school, I discovered Cheerleading. I auditioned for Plymouth Raiders Cheerleading and over the years worked my way to securing the position of head coach, choreographing and performing at weekly games in the Plymouth Pavilions.
My engagement in dance and sport influenced my career path greatly. After school I went to complete an apprenticeship with the Plymouth School Sports Partnership, my BCA qualification and teaching various dance classes. Today my role as School Games Organiser combines all the things I love; teaching PE and Dance to Primary and Secondary pupils, whilst organising various sporting events.
My mission is to create a positive, safe and exciting dance environment, where not only technique and passion can develop but also friendship and confidence.
